During the Summer / Autumn of 2008, the villagers of Cefn Cribbwr got together to record a music CD with the help and support of many local peoples of Cefn Cribbwr to raise both an awareness to, and raise monies towards the tragic consequences surrounding the spate of suicides of youngsters within the Bridgend County Borough.
With similar verve and passion, Wayne Davies from North Cornelly decided to instigate a similar project in the Cornelly area in November 2008 to aide the strong support and amazing community spirit that resides within our area as a whole.

Wayne's determination to somewhat replicate, yet not detract Cornelly's very near neighbour from what they had already uniquely produced gained popularity in the immediate local community without causing something of a local boxing derby to be executed.
When it was announced that monies generated from the sale of the CD would be donated to a local charity - the Sandville Self Help Centre, Ton Kenfig, this was deemed an honorable and worthy cause by local people of Cornelly to take part in and support this worthy community project.

Undiscovered - Cornelly's Greatest Hits 2008

Combining the efforts of various individuals with specific qualities and experience in their own fields, the music CD was recorded in Cefn Cribbwr at Eifion Lloyd recording studios as was the original Cefn Cribbwr music CD previously.
The CD cover photo and a montage of images from around the Cornelly area was supplied by Mr Rob Bowen of the Kenfig.org Local Community Group - the cover image was taken at the 2008 Annual Gambo Race looking towards both the New House Inn & Cornelly Arms pubs.
