Maudlam or MawdlamMaudlam Church
The History of Maudlam ChurchBuilt c.1255, Maudlam Church celebrated its 750th anniversary in 2005 and is believed to have been built
to serve the needs of the people of Kenfig who moved to higher ground in order to escape the effects of
encroaching sand.
Maudlam Church is not the Parish church due to a Consistory Court case held in 1485. Learn more about this court case

Maudlam Cricket ClubAround 100 years old, the Maudlam Cricket Club are as prominent in their game today as their fore fathers
were of yesteryear.
Kenfig.org were privilaged to have been invited to the club's 2007 Annual Presentation night on Saturday 03 November
where we witnessed a vibrant night full of talented players of all ages being rewarded for their efforts to the sport
and club throughout the 2007 cricket season.
