Gambo Race Route

The Gambo Race route begins in Kenfig then moves onto Maudlam and North Cornelly before heading towards Pyle for its finish. The race 'Pit Stops' are located at local pubs enroute; these are listed opposite:

Health & Safety || Gambo Rules

In the interests of public health & safety there are some Gambo Race House Rules in place which need to be adhered to at all times.

No Water Pistols, Canons etc. to be used during the event

No fighting, rude language, damage to property, cars etc.

Use common sense with parking vehicles & respect the Law
*
Place rubbish in bins - Respect the environment and the local area

The Gambo Race used to visit 9 pubs enroute originally

The Ponderosa Club closed in 2003 just before the event took place

The New House Inn have won 3 events since 2001

The 2006 event was marshalled by police on horseback at Pyle
*
The Gambo Music Festival began in 2007 at Pyle RFC
*
Temporary Road Closures began at Fairfield, North Cornelly for the 1st time in 2008
