This years event was started and judged by Mrs Markes (Mayor of Cynffig Community Council), Mrs Mari Jones (The Deputy Mayor of Bridgend County Borough Council), Mrs Violet Cody (The Deputy Mayors Escort) and County Councillor Jeff Tidlesey (North Cornelly). The Prince of Wales Inn was extremely busy, the atmosphere amazing... there was even a rock band in the car park (Apparently they were good although it was noted that the band had 'blown the amps' by the time we had arrived and they were unable to play anymore!) Anyone know who this band was? We would like to give them a mention here. Well done to Landlord Gareth Maund and staff at the Prince for a fantastic start to the 2006 Annual Gambo Race.
