Extremely warm, sunny weather at the main hill section of this years gambo race. South Wales Police closed the road from Maudlam Cross towards the Prince of Wales Inn due to the sheer volume of traffic - only traffic coming from Porthcawl behind the gambo race was allowed, this provided a vantage point to take photos without being run down in the process at this location. However caused some problems with motorists wishing to go to Kenfig National Nature Reserve from Maudlam Cross direction. A few more people taking photos at this position, however, gambos were all together coming up hill causing problems distingushing one from the other when taking photos. Think we managed the job though.
